In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, and all the other authors we love, students dressed up as their favorite book characters on Friday, March 3. First Grade students also completed and shared a book character report about why they chose their character and giving several character traits to describe them.
The teachers even had fun dressing up as their favorite book characters. Each class had spent the previous week doing author studies about one famous author. First Grade teachers chose to dress up as characters from their class' author's series. | |
| In addition to dressing up as book characters, we also welcomed guest readers into our rooms to share their favorite stories with our class. Mrs. Dunn's class loved heard Mrs. Dunn's dad, Mr. Roberts read! And of course, Mr. Bates is always a crowd favorite! |
