But first, we got to enjoy a day at the North Carolina coast - exploring the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium and then enjoying some time on the beach.
Students and teachers alike had fun traveling through each region of North Carolina as represented at the aquarium and learning about the different habitats found in each area - the Coast, the Piedmont, and the Mountains. In class, we will use the real-life examples we observed at the aquarium to make connections and determine how each different region of NC meets the needs of different plants and animals.
While this field trip was the perfect learning opportunity, it was also a perfect time to relax and have fun as a class!
